What does the ongoing war and peace in the Middle East have to do with the “Red Heifer”?

Abu Obeidah, referring to atrocities and genocide in Gaza, accused Jews of bringing “red cows” to the Holy Land

When Hamas spokesman Abu Obaidah spoke on the 100th day of the war in Gaza, one shocking thing he said did not receive much media attention.

Abu Obaidah accused the Jews of bringing “red cows” to the Holy Land, referring to atrocities and genocide in Gaza.

The cow he was talking about is the Red Heifer, which is now grazing in a safe and undisclosed location in Israel’s occupied West Bank.

Some Jews and Christians believe that these red cows are very important for the rebuilding of the Jewish temple and the arrival of the Christian, according to the American TV CBS TV report.

To understand this, one has to look at the events and circumstances in the turbulent history of the Middle East, about two thousand years ago, when the ancient Romans destroyed the last temple in occupied Jerusalem.

For rebuilding the temple, devotees point to the Bible’s Book of Numbers, which commands the Israelites to “sacrifice a red heifer without blemish, I have no blemish, and one that has never been plowed into the plow.” Only after such a sacrifice could the temple be rebuilt.

An important role in bringing these red heifers to the occupied Jerusalem was played by Yitzchak Mamou, who belongs to a Jewish group called Yvonne Jerusalem, and this group is committed to rebuilding the temple in the ancient city.

Talking to the American TV channel CBS News, Yitzchak Mamo said that it is seen that not a single hair in these cows is white or black, and if all the hairs do not turn red, they will not be eligible for sacrifice.

It took years to find the red heifer and for this purpose Yitzchak Mamo contacted the Christian shepherds thousands of miles away in the American state of Texas where after a long search he found the cows he wanted called “Texas Red Angus”.

According to Yitzchak Mamo, the calves were classified as pets in order to relax the strict ban on the export of red heifers from the United States. The cows have now been transported to occupied Jerusalem where they will be sacrificed on a vast white altar in front of the Mount of Olives where the cows will soon be burned. .

Mamo said that it was necessary to offer this sacrifice given the location of the Second Temple, which was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD.
